Let me catch you up on my backstory. I’ve been knitting for more years than I’d like to admit. I’ve been in the business of yarn since 2004; first as a yarn shop owner and then as a freelance designer and teacher. Most of these years, I’ve had the best business partner a girl can have; my mom.

A few years ago, she retired. Her retirement lead to some soul searching on my part. I spent the better part of last year doing very little knitting-wise but I spent a lot of time thinking about what I want to be as a designer.

Our name, A B-ewe-tiful Design, and logo, two sheep each knitting off the other's fleece, no longer seemed to fit.

Long story short, I have a new mission statement: Knitwear designs in fine weight yarns using unique construction. Sweaters are my first love, but you can find a bit of everything here. I hope you like what you see.
